Cancel Vertex AI Hyperparameter Tuning Jobs

Cancels a running Vertex AI Hyperparameter Tuning Job. This is useful for cost control and incident response when jobs are running longer than expected or consuming unexpected resources.

Note: Only jobs in a non-terminal state can be cancelled; jobs in any other state are logged and skipped.
